The orbiting Kepler telescope has found another unusual alien solar system.
The Kepler telescope monitors star for changes in their brightness. The light resulting curves can be seen at

Recently an extra-solar system with 4 stars (planets orbiting two of the stars with the other two stars orbiting as a distant binary pair) was discovered using by two "arm-chair" astronomers using the above web site.
