Brian Scarbeau Insights from a seasoned Computer Science Trainer

This morning I received an e-mail that was kind of cool and quite frankly woke me up as I start to read my e-mails at 7:00 am.

I'll share:

Dear Brian Scarbeau,

Thank you for being a great contributor to Microsoft Visual Studio 2005.

You have been nominated to receive the Award for Customer Excellence. This award recognizes your extraordinary contribution to the Visual Studio 2005 product and will be shipped to you without charge.

The Award for Customer Excellence (ACE) program was created to reward and recognize customers who have demonstrated enthusiasm for Microsoft® products.

So my response to this award has to be Thank You to Microsoft Corporation for coming out with cool products that I use in the class to teach my students. Thanks for supporting high schools in the United States with the Academic Alliance, website, free training and free curriculum. Finally, thanks to the High School Guy , Daryll McDade, who works hard coordinating all this for Microsoft.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
